Discount Water Sports

There are plenty of discount water sports along the 550km coastline of Majorca including wakeboarding, water skiing, banana boat, jet skiing and inflatable discs.

If you are up for some excitement it is worth putting on a life jacket and experiencing the adrenaline rush of a water sport. I used to go on the banana boat virtually every year, recently not so much as there is so much else I like to do. It is the ultimate water sport.

If you are more adventurous then I would recommend you go on the single banana boat as this one is less stable, on the other hand if you would like to go on the banana boat but want to keep relatively dry, that is not head under water then go on the double banana boat, there is something for everyone.

Some beaches give discounts or offers, for example:
Buy inflatable discs; get banana boat free - €20

Another water sport, the ultimate one is jet skiing. The price for is half an hour for €60, which in my opinion is expensive but as I said it is great fun and it would make your holiday. This is an adult water sport and can be very dangerous.

My family have rented a 250hp speed boat for 4 days and we did a few water sports like wakeboarding and doughnuts, which is also an adult water sport.

I remember filming each other on the donut and when watching it, it was hilarious. We went to Puertos Vais for a picnic and visited other beaches to go snorkelling. It was a great 4 days but an expensive one.

Two years later in 2007 a family which we knew were staying 10 minutes away from us and they had an idea of going on this speed boat trip where you paid €50 each and a gentleman drove the boat to different locations giving you the chance to do a number of water sports and snorkelling.

There were four of them and there was room for two more so they asked if my brother and I wanted to go with them, so we did, leaving my parents on the beach.

The six of us had a brilliant time especially the adults because it was a discount water sport, I would strongly recommend doing this over renting a boat unless you are experienced in renting boats.
