Majorca spring displays religious celebrations and Easter festivals.

Usually during March and April, Semana Santa (Easter week) occurs. The most moving Easter celebration is the Davallament located in Pollenca, North of the island. The celebration consists of the symbol of Christ being paraded down the steps of Calvari. In Mantuiri, the celebration is S’Encuentro, which falls on Easter Sunday. April
Five incredible days in Palma for the Festival Mundial de Danses Folklòriques. Palma’s squares and streets will be the set for performing folk dancers. May
Puppet companies rule Palma and towns around the island in May, from all over the world, for the International de Teatre de Teresetes Festival. The first Sunday of May in Sineau, Sa Fiea which is one of the largest markets in Majorca, is displayed. A colourful display of a re-enactment of a pirate assault on the town of Soller is performed in the festival Es Firó, on the second weekend of May.
