Water Sports Majorca

Water Sports Majorca: there are plenty of discount water sports along the 550km coastline of Majorca including wake-boarding, water skiing, para-gliding, banana boat, jet skiing and inflatable discs and of course, Diving.

windsurfing-majorcaIf you are up for some excitement it is worth putting on a life jacket and experiencing the adrenaline rush of a water sport.

I really enjoy the banana boat: to me it was the ultimate water sport!

If you are more adventurous then I would recommend you go on the single banana boat as this one is less stable, on the other hand if you would like to go on the banana boat but want to keep relatively dry, that is not head under water, then go on the double banana boat. There is something for everyone.

Some beaches give discounts or offers, for example:
Buy inflatable discs; get banana boat free - €20

Another water sport,a little more ambitious, is jet skiing. The price for that is about €60 for half an hour, which in my opinion, is expensive but as I said it is great fun and it would make your holiday.

Be warned: This is an adult water sport and can be very dangerous.

My family have rented a 250hp speed boat for 4 days and we did a few water sports like wake-boarding and doughnuts, which is also a more adult water sport.

I remember going to Puertos Vais for a picnic and visited other beaches to go snorkelling. It was a great 4 days but an expensive one. majorca_boat

Two years later in 2007 a family which we knew were staying ten minutes away from us and they had an idea of going on this speed boat trip where you paid €50 each and a driver drove the boat to different locations giving you the chance to do a number of water sports and snorkelling.

There were four of them and there was room for two more so they asked if my brother and I wanted to go with them, so we did, leaving my parents on the beach.

The six of us had a brilliant time especially the adults because it was a discount water sport. I would strongly recommend doing this over renting a boat unless you are experienced in renting boats.
